Direct Intake Systems
The direct intake system differs from the closed systems, by moving the filter cone out of the engine bay away from any heat. By relocating the filter away from the heat of the engine, the supply of cooler, dense air gives a reliable increase in power.
The entire intake tract is also replaced, de-restricting the air path to the engine. On turbo engines, the direct intake system can also result in a significate reduction in turbo lag.
The cone of the direct intake system is fully washable & reusable, meaning a long life for your intake system.
