These conditions apply to your use of our Website and any products therein. By accessing this Website, you agree to be bound by them.
If the parts that have been purchased are correct as per your order, we will refund the cost of the product minus a handling charge, which can be up to 15%. Carriage charges will also be deducted from your order. Please note that the buyer is responsible for all carriage charges when returning the product. Refunds can only be given if products are returned in their original packaging and in ‘as new’ condition.
Once a special non-stock order has been processed (usually 24 hours) the cancellation of non-stock parts cannot be accepted.
If goods are delivered incomplete, have been damaged in transit or are faulty, R-Tec LTD reserves the right to replace the product. Any damages or shortages must be reported to RTecShop.com within 24 Hours of receipt.
All products are checked before dispatch (including all vehicle lamps). Any products that arrive to the customer damaged or broken must be returned in full (including all broken pieces) otherwise no credit or replacement will be given. If the goods have been damaged in transit and are faulty we reserve the right to replace the product.
If the purchase is incomplete damaged or faulty, and a refund is required, then a handling charge of up to 15% will be deducted from the order value. Please note that the customer is responsible for the return carriage charges.
If an order sent to the buyer is found to be faulty or damaged, a replacement will not be sent out until the faulty item's are returned in full. If a product is required urgently, we may suggest the purchase of another unit until the faulty item's are received. The item will then be credited.
If we have wrongly supplied parts we will at first try to supply the correct parts to you. If the correct products are not available we will reimburse the full purchase price if within 14 days. R-Tec Auto Design is not responsible for any labour charges incurred during the fitment, or removal of suspected incorrect ordered or supplied parts.
If you wish to return a product for exchange then we reserve the right to deduct our initial shipping fee. (The handling charge is to offset the costs incurred by us in processing credit cards and packaging and shipping your order as requested).
We can only accecpt returns for products which are undamaged and the packaging is in a re-saleable condition. The following Goods may not be returned to us for credit:
Please note we are unable to accecpt returns on wheels which have been damaged, kerbed or washed with acid-based cleaning products. We reserve to right to PH test wheels and inspect wheels for damage prior to any refund or warranty replacement.
Please be careful not to kerb your alloy wheels or damage them in any way as this will void the manufactures warranty.
If you wish to return any item then please follow these basic steps:
Contact us via e-mail or telephone for clearance. The member of staff will give you their name for authorisation.
Send the goods with a accompanied letter explaining the reason for return, and a copy of the receipt to the following address: Returns Dept, R-Tec Warehouse, Lyon Way, Hatfield Road, St Albans, Herts, AL4 0QU.
We never delay refunds - They are normally actioned the same day, buy may take upto 3 working days for the bank to process.
We cannot be held responsible for packages lost in transit: as you are responsible for returning the item/items to us. We recommend sending the package by Recorded/Special Delivery.
All items for sale on this website are covered by a manufacturer’s warranted or our own guarantee. Every item unless stated is covered for at least 6 months unlimited mileage (from the date of invoice) – some items are longer. Guarantees and warranties cover manufacturing defects and not misuse or abuse.
Goods returned under warranty must be accompanied by a valid proof of purchase and will be dealt with as a matter of priority with the manufacturer, for quality control purposes and to establish whether the cause is a genuine manufacturing fault.
R-Tec Auto Design is not responsible for any carriage charges or labour charges incurred during the fitment, or removal of suspected faulty, incorrectly ordered or supplied parts. All warranty claims are classed as return to base warranty.
Painted alloy wheels have a 6-month warranty, unless otherwise stated. This is only valid if they have been cleaned regularly, have not been kerbed and have no stone chips etc that have broken the lacquer.
We suggest commercial wheel cleaners are not used on Alloy or Chrome wheels. Wheel manufacturers are so adamant about the potential damage from wheel cleaners that the use of these will void the manufacturers warranty. Never pressure wash alloy wheels as this can badly affect the paint and will also void the warranty. We would recommend washing alloy wheels at least twice a week with normal car wash solution.
Chrome wheels have no warranty owing to UK adverse weather conditions and suggest during the winter chrome wheels should be removed to avoid deterioration.
Alloy wheels, especially polished or non-metallic plated wheels require special cleaning.

The Conditions will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom whose Courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute, save that we have the right, at our sole discretion, to commence and pursue proceedings in alternative jurisdictions.
A contract of sale shall be deemed to exist between R-TEC and you when you receive a confirmation of order from us or an invoice. You must check that the order details, invoice and delivery address are correct and notify us immediately of any discrepancies. We advise that you print a copy of this confirmation for your own records.
You may cancel your order with us anytime upto 7 days after day of delivery and any payment made will be refunded, providing the goods have been ordered from stock. Send us an email with your order number, name and address to cancel. Upon receipt of stock item goods you may return them, at your own cost, as mentioned within 7 working days. They must be unused and in the original packaging. Providing these conditions are met we will refund the cost of the received goods only. Refunds are made via the same method used for the original payment. This means that the cost of delivery can not and will not be refunded. We can arrange collection on your behalf but the costs involved with doing so will be deducted from your refund.
Please Note: These conditions do not apply for the return of faulty / damaged goods (see below).
Special consignments / orders or pre-orders cannot be cancelled once the order has been accepted as we often pay for them in advance and by the nature of a special order generally means that it is an item that we do not stock due to its popularity and therefore will be difficult to re-sell.
We aim to despatch goods within 24hrs of completion of payment process for orders paid by credit/debit card or postal order.
We will post items via the delivery method selected however we accept no responsibility for loss, damage or late delivery through no fault of our own. In certain cases it may be possible to claim compensation for lost items however we need to be notified within 14 days that the product has not arrived else we will not be able to claim and you may lose the money spent on that lost item. In the exceptional circumstances where we find we are at fault ie. lost order, we will send the item and refund all postage costs.
The following applies to goods ordered over the value of £50 or of a large nature items below will generally be dispatched via the Royal Mail Network or business post.
All goods over £50 are delivered via carrier service, between 8:30am and 5:30pm Monday - Friday, and require a signature upon receipt and the following applies:
UK Mainland Customers - Delivery is made by carrier, If you cannot arrange for someone to be available to sign for the goods, please let us know immediately for an alternative delivery date or alternative delivery address to be scheduled.
Offshore Customers/EU Customers – Unfortunatley we do not send overseas.
These are priced per item based on weight and value, Special rates apply for bulk orders. We reserve the right even after confirming your online order via email to obtain quotes from delivery companies for the cost of delivery of your item and if delivery cost is found to be more than the price previously charged to give you the option to pay the extra to have it delivered or to have a full refund. We will not be obligated to deliver the item at the previously charged price and put us in a loss making situation.
We will refund monies for any product ordered in error as long as it is returned to us at your expense and it is received in the same 'New' condition that it left us in. The cost for delivery to you will not be refunded this will be deducted from your refund at the exact cost to us.
You must take responsibility for checking over the goods and unpacking whilst the delivery driver waits if necessary. In the unlikely event that the goods received are faulty or damaged, you must sign for the goods as damaged. If you sign to say that they are received in good condition we must assume that they were in good condition when delivered or you have confirmed acceptance of the goods in this damaged condition and we will not be able to rectify any fault how so ever caused or make any payments of compensation. You must notify us within 24 working hours of delivery by email or telephone or else a damage claim may not be possible. Depending upon the extent of the fault / damage, you may be sent a replacement you will be asked to return the goods in their original packaging (where possible) to our address R-Tec Auto Design, Lyon way, Hatfield Road, St Albans, Herts, AL4 0QU. In the event that you are asked to return the goods, you will be offered a refund or replacement, providing there is no evidence of misuse.
We offer a 12 month warranty on all our accessory products. Some Alloy wheels are only offered with a 6 months warranty.
Should the part fail due to neglect, abuse, accident, corrosion, lack of regular maintenance or modifications not approved by R-tec Auto Design in writing, then all parts of the warranty will be VOID.
In order not to invalidate the manufacturer’s warranty, all vehicles purchased must be regularly maintained in line with the manufacturers guidelines.
All warranties offered on parts or labour will be 'return to base' (RTB) warranty. That is, the customer is responsible for returning the product or vehicle to our workshop immediately. If the product breaks down due to faulty manufacturing or in normal use, (in addition to the manufacturers warranty) you must firstly contact our store by telephone and/or email. Explain to us what the exact problem is and we will then advise what the next steps should be. Please note we will not pay for labour by a third party (including other Workshops/Garages) for repairs to faulty items we have fitted or supplied before we have inspected the part / fault. For buyers who wish the item to be returned to them, the postage and packing fee will be required to be paid when the item is returned. Please contact us for a Returns Number before returning any item (email@example.com). When we accept the return of a product for repair we will where possible use our own labour force to make the repair on occasion the item may need to go back to the manufacturer in this instance we'll organise for the product to be sent back to the relevant manufacturer or distributor. Due to the process and logistics involved, it may take up to 6 weeks for a product to be received, sent to the relevant manufacturer for repair, returned to us and then finally sent back to the customer, however the average time is 4 weeks.
Should you remove or require us to remove any item once fitted we will not be held responsible to 'make good' any holes or modifications that were required during the fitting process. Guarantees: In Respect of guarantees with regard to products and price notification should be put in writing and mailed to our Customer Services Manager at our address displayed at the bottom of each page of our website within 7 days of delivery of the item or should it be a fault within 7 days of discovering the fault.
1) The legal and equitable title to the goods supplied under the contract (in this condition referred to as "the contract goods" which expression includes any of them) will not pass to the Buyer until the price for the contract goods has been paid in full and until such payment the Buyer will hold them in a fiduciary capacity as bailee for the Company.
2) Notwithstanding the provisions of condition 10.1 above, the Buyer shall be entitled to dispose of the goods for the account of the Company (but so that any warranties, conditions or representations given or made by the Buyer to his customer shall not bind the Company which shall be indemnified by the Buyer in respect thereof) and to pass good title to the goods to any customer which is a bona fide purchaser for value without notice of the Company's rights.
3) Where the contract goods are resold by the Buyer and at the time of such resale the property in such goods has not passed to the Buyer then the proceeds of such resale will be held by the Buyer in a fiduciary capacity on trust for the Company and the Buyer will account to the Company for the same to the extent necessary to pay the price for the contract goods and the Company shall have the additional right to recover in the name of the Buyer (for which purpose the Company is hereby appointed the Buyer's attorney) any price payable to the Buyer by his customer but if it shall exercise such right the Company shall account to the Buyer for the balance of the amounts recovered after recouping all debts due to the Company from the Buyer and the costs of such recovery.
4) The Buyer shall so long as the Company is entitled to the property in the con-tract goods store the contract goods so that they are identifiable as the property of the Company.
5) Without prejudice to any of the Company's other rights (whether to damages or under contract or otherwise howsoever) the Company may at any time after the price for the contract goods has become due and remains unpaid rescind the contract and/or recover any contract goods which are still the property of the Company. By entering into this contract the Buyer hereby authorises the Company's servants and agents to enter into any premises of the Buyer for that purpose.
